1975

St. George Hospital was officially opened on February 22, 1975. This hospital was inaugurated by Caspar Weinberger, who was the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare (HEW) at that time. Doctors and every staff member was committed to maintaining its repute with integrity. This mission and philosophy still continue till present day.

Centenary Remembrance

This hospital was built to deliver high quality healthcare with dedication to the people of New York. It is recognized for its first medical superintendent, Dr. William H. Carter, and nursing superintendent, Ms. Laura M. Fletcher. This hospital played an important role in caring for different types of injuries and conditions.
